Why choose Danetti for your velvet armchairs?

Since starting in 2006, we've built our reputation on one simple principle: furniture should work for how you actually live. That means velvet that stands up to daily use, frames built to proper standards, and designs created through genuine conversations about what people need from their homes.

Each armchair in our collection balances style with substance. Generous padding, supportive frames, and carefully selected velvet finishes that age gracefully rather than show every mark. Some pieces feature 360-degree swivel mechanisms for added flexibility, whilst others focus on classic comfort with modern proportions.

With a 3 year warranty on structure, detailed assembly guidance, and our 30 day total satisfaction guarantee, you're covered long after delivery. Our approach is straightforward: create furniture that earns its place in your home, then stand behind it completely.

Regularly vacuuming your velvet armchair with an upholstery attachment helps prevent dust build-up. For spills or stains, immediately blot the area with a clean, dry cloth to absorb excess liquid. Avoid rubbing, as this can damage the fabric. If necessary, use a damp cloth with a small amount of mild detergent and gently blot the stain. For stubborn or dried stains, it's best to consult a professional upholstery cleaner. Always check the product's page for specific care and cleaning recommendations, as some materials may have special requirements.

To coordinate a sofa with a velvet armchair, consider the velvet's colour and tone. A matching velvet sofa creates a luxurious, unified look. If you prefer contrast, choose a sofa in a complementary colour or a different texture like leather or boucle, echoing the armchair's colour in scatter cushions or a throw. Consider the legs of both pieces - coordinating wood or metal finishes creates a cohesive feel. Finally, ensure both pieces share a similar style, whether modern, classic, or contemporary, for a harmonious living space.

A velvet armchair instantly elevates a living room with its luxurious texture. Consider the colour of your chosen armchair - a rich jewel tone adds a pop of colour against a neutral backdrop, while a softer shade creates a calming atmosphere. Complement the velvet with contrasting textures like a chunky knit throw or a smooth leather ottoman. Place a floor lamp nearby for a cosy reading nook or position it facing the sofa to encourage conversation. A small side table provides a spot for drinks and books. If your living room is smaller, opt for a lighter colour velvet to avoid overwhelming the space. You can also add a patterned cushion or two to bring in other colours or patterns and tie the look together.

To keep your velvet armchair looking its best, regular care is essential. Gentle vacuuming with an upholstery attachment helps remove dust and debris. For spills or stains, blot immediately with a clean, dry cloth to prevent the liquid from soaking in. Avoid rubbing, as this can damage the velvet fibres. If necessary, use a damp cloth with a small amount of mild detergent specifically designed for upholstery. Plump and reshape cushions regularly to maintain their form and prevent uneven wear. Avoid placing your velvet armchair in direct sunlight, as this can cause the colour to fade over time. Always check the product's page for specific care and cleaning recommendations, as some materials may have special requirements.
