Winter Event Dining Room Furniture

Ideally, allow at least 75cm between your dining table and walls or other furniture. This provides ample space for chairs to be pulled out comfortably and for people to move around freely. For extending tables, consider the fully extended size and ensure there's enough space in your dining area to accommodate it without feeling cramped. A comfortable distance between diners is around 60cm. Remember to account for any additional furniture in the room, like sideboards or cabinets, to maintain a good flow.

To keep your dining table looking its best during the festive season, protect it from spills and heat. Use coasters and placemats, especially with hot dishes and drinks. Wipe up spills immediately with a slightly damp cloth and avoid harsh chemicals. For tougher marks, use a mild detergent solution, but always test it on an inconspicuous area first. If your table has a ceramic finish, remember it's heat, scratch and chip resistant, but continued use of very hot items can damage it over time, so coasters are still recommended. For glass-topped tables, use a glass cleaner for a streak-free shine. Wood and metal finishes can be wiped down with a soft, damp cloth. Always check the product's page for specific care and cleaning recommendations, as some materials may have special requirements.
