Velvet fabric has a fine pile which may appear to have shading variations and bruising of the velvet surface. This is not a manufacturing defect but natural charactersitics of velvet. To resolve this, we recommend that you gently massage with your fingers or use a dry sponge to rub the velvet surface. To speed up this process you could use a hairdryer on a low heat setting. 

To keep your velvet looking its best, we suggest occasionally vacuum the material to remove any surface dust. To clean the more stubborn surface marks, we suggest mixing some dish soap (uncoloured) with some lukewarm water. We advise using a cotton towel to gently dab or wipe the marks away. Avoid heavy blotting or harsh rubbing as this will potentially damage the surface.

Please immediately wipe up any spills by using a paper towel or soft cloth and please make sure the material is dried thoroughly after cleaning. Do not position your furniture in front of radiators, fires or direct sunlight as it may cause fading or discolouration. 

This bed will be delivered to you unassembled so it can be securely packaged and arrive to you in the best condition. The headboard and bed frame will be separate, so it's just a case of using the instructions and fittings provided to attach the parts together. Please note, a mattress for this bed is not included.
