It's best to regularly vacuum the footstool to remove any dust and bits that are bound to have built up over time. When it comes to cleaning, never use detergents or abrasive cleaners as this will damage the material. Instead, wipe any spillages or marks with a slightly dampened cloth as soon as the mark appears. Be sure to dry the area with a kitchen towel after cleaning to remove any excess moisture. We’d advise to only use specialised upholstery cleaning products to treat any spills as you know the product will be safe to use on the fabric. Try not to place your fabric furniture in direct sunlight or close to sources of heat, as like with most things, this can cause the colour to fade.
To clean the glossy side table, use a damp soft cloth and some soapy water. For more stubborn marks just add a splash of mild detergent, staying clear of and harsh chemical based cleaners. We always advise using coasters and mats when placing drinks or anything with a rough edge onto the side table as this will give the surface that extra layer of protection.
