• The round tabletop is a smooth, almost mirror like grey gloss. We labour over a multi stage process that involves 3 coats of gloss, each dried for 24 hours and hand polished for a high shine. It's this layering process that gives the finish its depth and durability.

• On the table legs we've used the thickest possible veneer, applied and finished by hand, meaning that you get the modern solid look of oak with no concerns about splitting that you can get with solid timber.

• We have worked on the sizing and proportions of this table so that what is actually quite a simple design still feels very substantial, but in a stylish and elegant why. The oak veneer frame of the table crosses under the grey gloss tabletop, rather than the legs just poking right out from the table. We did this because we wanted the table to be very simple, but in a stylised way. By adding the under frame, we've created an extra bit of design with lots of added stability.

• Round tables are known for being very convivial ' you can sit for hours with your friends and family quite literally around the table. This is why we wanted to include a round table in this range; it is a great opportunity to create a relaxed and engaging social space for your dining area, allowing you to comfortably sit long after all the dinner plates have been cleared away.
