We always suggest using placemats and coasters each meal time to best protect any wood veneer table top. When cleaning your veneer, dampen a soft lint-free cloth and wipe in the direction of the wood grain. For more stubborn marks, apply a dab of mild dishwashing detergent to your cloth and again wipe in the direction if the wood grain. Never use wax-based polishes or cleaning products on your veneer as this will create a cloudy and uneven appearance to the surface. Try to wipe up any spills as soon as they happen as liquids can seep through the veneer, loosening the glue from the surface. Don’t use a sponge as this can just spread the liquid. Instead, use a paper towel or a clean dish cloth.
For the brushed metal legs. you can simply use some hot water and a cloth or sponge. You can always add a little bit of washing up liquid if you cleaning needs and extra boost. Try to keep your brushed metal as dry as possible, whether this is after cleaning the material or mopping the floor around it. This is because if the metal is left to air dry, marks and water spots can occur.
