Contemporary coffee tables

Some may think that a coffee table is a traditional piece of furniture – something that’s most at home in a chintzy living room with three piece suite and real fire. But there are some stunning examples of modern design to be found in the coffee table arena these days – from single-piece moulded acrylic to all-glass minimalistic.

They look great either as a centre piece in a room, or positioned next to sofas  – wherever you place them, make sure they are within arm’s reach of your seating, so they are functional.
