It’s important to protect your oak veneer table top as the steam and heat from very hot dishes and mugs can, over time, loosen the glue holding the veneer to the surface underneath. This is very easy to avoid by simply using placemats and coasters. It’s best to wipe up any spill immediately as liquids can seep through the veneer table top and loosen the glue. 

Don’t use a sponge as this will more than likely just spread the liquid. Instead, use a paper towel or a clean dishcloth making sure the table is dried after cleaning. To clean the legs use a soft microfibre damp cloth to wipe any marks away, without applying too much pressure.

Mason Chairs

Try to keep your leather dining chairs out of direct sunlight as like with most things, the leather will fade to some extent when it is directly exposed. When it comes to cleaning, we suggest using an absorbent cloth or sponge to wipe the affected areas. Avoid using soaps or cleaning solvents as this will damage the leather, lukewarm water should do just the trick! 

Please note, due to the qualities of real leather, the material will flex slightly from when it is first delivered to you.
