We would advise against sitting on the PU while wearing clothing with sharp buttons or accessories, as this can potentially mark, and in extreme cases, cause a rip in the leather. This is so easy to avoid, just make sure that nothing on your clothing is piercing or sharp and you’ll be completely fine.
The seat and PU of the Ida can be wiped clean with a damp soft cloth. Try and wipe up any spillages as soon as they occur for the best results. For more stubborn marks, you can add a drop of washing-up liquid.
On delivery, the seat and leg frame of the Ida will be separate as this keeps the chair well protected for transportation. Assembly is easy, it’s just a case of attaching the legs to the seat using the washers and fittings provided.
No tools are needed and all the instructions and fittings will be included with your delivery.

We're very pleased with these chairs. They are excellent quality with sturdy legs and will probably last many years. Each chair comes with an allen key and 4 screws, so I was able to construct each one in a matter of minutes. The wood was very pale ash, so I've used a neutral stain on each leg and now they match our oak table.
