Our white gloss dining tables have such a bright and lovely shine, and believe it or not, it is such an easy finish to clean and maintain. For general cleaning, all you need is a soft microfibre damp cloth to wipe any marks away. Do not use any harsh chemical based cleaners as this will potentially damage the surface- water will do just the trick. For cleaning up the more stubborn or greasy marks caused by food and drink, try using a mild detergent like washing up liquid. For the best results, wipe up any marks and spills as soon as they occur. Once you've finished cleaning, just give the white gloss surface a quick wipe over with a dry cloth to remove any moisture. As with any table surface, we always suggest using placemats and coasters as this just gives the glossy table surface that extra layer of protection against scratching and general wear and tear. When looking for a cleaning product for your faux leather dining chairs, always ask yourself ‘would I put it on my skin / body’? If not, chances are it’s too harsh to use on the faux leather. Don’t be tempted to use an abrasive cloth or sponge; stick to using soft cloths, applying a gentle amount of pressure in a circular motion. Scrubbing will just crack the leather rather than help to remove the mark. If you are ever unsure about the cloth you are using or about the cleaning product, it’s alway a good idea to test it on a small area of the faux leather that is plain out of sight, before going ahead and cleaning the whole thing. Be careful of colour transfers from brand new clothing, such as denim and from clothing that uses darker dyes as this can potentially mark the leather. We recommend doing a regular very mild clean with some warm water and washing up liquid, as this stops the marks from general wear and tear building up over time and making the surface look grubby.

The Fern White Gloss Dining Table will be delivered to you unassembled. To construct the Fern, all you need to do is attach the long thread bolts to the table top and slide on the legs. You MUST upturn the table on a soft surface to protect the gloss and it should never be pivoted on any of the table legs. Make sure you have enough people to help if you are going to construct this piece yourself. The chairs will arrive fully assembled so all you need to do is table them out of the box and you're ready to go.
