To clean the matt table surface, we suggest using a soft microfibre damp cloth, without applying too much pressure, to wipe any marks away. We’d strongly advise against using harsh chemical based cleaners as this will damage the tables lovely smooth finish. After cleaning it’s always best to give the surface a quick wipe over with a dry cloth to remove any moisture. Try to use something such as a placemat or wicker coaster each mealtime as this will prevent the table surface becoming marked or slightly warped over time from the heat of oven hot plates or drinks. The joy of the Finn dining chairs is that they are so practical. Any spills and marks can just be wiped off with a cloth and warm soapy water. Alternatively, you can use any mild household cleaning spray, furniture wipes, or even baby wipes are handy for a quick spill. Because they are plastic you can use an antibacterial spray if needed, which is great for families with young children.

The Aver table and Finn chairs will be delivered to you unassembled to keep them protected and streamlined for transport, so they can arrive to you in the best condition. Assembly of the Aver is very simple; you don’t need to worry about the extension mechanism as this is contained within the table top, so all you need to do is to attach the four table legs, being sure to protect the table surface when it is upturned. The base of the Finn chair will be separate to the moulded seat, so assembly is just a case of using the nuts and washers provided to fix the base to the seat, making sure that they are nice and tight. No tools are needed to assemble the Finn chair and instructions for both items will be included with your delivery.
