The Francis arm chair is a nice modern piece of metal work paired with a large padded seat for extra comfort. The frame is not only important structurally for the chair but also forms part of the design. The front of the chair is raised by the strong chrome frame so the chair sits at an angle. This is great for comfort as it allows you to sit right back and sink into this luxurious arm chair. The frame then wraps round the back of the chair to form support for the arm rests and back support for the cushion. This clever use of its structure is simple but ingenious to create a minimalist appearance.
