Six of the best white dining chairs

We don’t play favourites at Danetti. We love all our furniture equally, and every piece is selected for its style and usefulness. But because we’re sliding towards the warmer months and want to lighten and brighten our homes, we’re especially keen on white dining chairs right now. They are great for using in a contemporary dining room or kitchen diner and can look just as good in a minimalist, monochrome interior as they can in a funky, bright interior.

We’ve selected six white dining chairs that we think you’ll like. Which is your favourite? Ours is … no, we can’t pick one.

1. The Akia is a really elegant contemporary dining chair from Italy. It comes with either a chrome or aluminium frame and upholstery in faux or genuine split leather in a range of colours, including white. The subtle cushioning and relatively high back rest make it comfortable, and the horizontal stitching on the leather-work adds a nice bit of detail to this otherwise simple design. The chair is stackable, which means you can neatly store these chairs away when you don’t have guests, which we know is always handy. We think it’d work well in most home dining rooms, but especially those which are modern but not too minimalist. A stunning choice, we think!

2. Looking for some funky curved seating to make an impact in your dining space, then look no further than the Annes dining chair. With a well cushioned seat and back rest the Annes chair is not only comfortable for sitting, but also looks fabulous, especially with the thin chrome frame that wraps round the entire piece. Choose from a range of faux leather and genuine leather finishes to complement the highly polished chrome frame.

3. The Delilah is a stylish and super-funky geometric leather dining chair, made in Italy. It comes with a choice of chrome or lacquered aluminium finish frame and with a wide modern seat back and arms finished in a soft split leather or faux leather, which comes in a variety of colours. This contemporary piece of seating would look most at home in a contemporary living environment, probably teamed with a glass table. Because of the clean cut lines of this piece, we think it would work especially well in a kitchen diner.

4. This seriously stylish dining chair comes in a milky white or several other eye-popping colours like orange and fuchsia. We think it’s a real design statement, which makes it all the more amazing that it’s reasonably priced. It’s made from polypropylene and is even suitable for outdoor use. Multi-purpose furniture, that’s what we like!

5. The ultimate in simplicity this one. Great for those on a budget or people who just want a minimalist and unfussy dining chair. The Emo is an all-polymer chair, which means there are no screws, joints or stress points. It’s ergonomic with superior comfort and lumbar support, and can be stacked up to 10 high. It’s ideal for both interior and exterior use.

6. We love the Magi dining chair because it confuses us. It’s traditional in form yet modern in materials and design. The Magi armchair looks stunning both with the Magi dining table or as a single statement chair. The chair comes with a satin-finish stainless steel, black or white lacquered metal frame, and with a seat in leather, eco-leather or fabric. Very few chairs have the poise and elegance that perfectly marries the traditional with the modern and this one does. A great investment buy.
