If you are like many people and prefer to have your tv screen upon a piece of stylish furniture rather than mounted on the wall, then these simple tips for choosing a new tv stand may help. Most of our tv units are roughly around the height of the average sofa seat which means that when you are snuggled up on the couch you don’t have to crane or strain your neck to view your favourite programme, as the screen will be at eye-level. Measure the width of your tv and make sure that the tv cabinet can safely accommodate the screen as well as any speakers or additional AV equipment.
