Product spotlight: the Aine chair
Every now and then we like to showcase a product on the Danetti blog that we think is just a little bit special.
This time, we’re focusing on the Aine chair, because we think it’s stunning, and if you buy one or two for your your home, we can assure you that they will be a real talking point.
This chair is part of the Italian-made Aine range and everything about it, from the gentle slope of the back rest to the deeply padded seat, is designed with your comfort in mind. There’s even a padded headrest which makes it a seriously comfortable place to sit for your afternoon nap!
That’s not to say any style is compromised – typical Italians. The whole design is really unusual – from the gravity-defying chrome base, to the deeply contoured upholstery, which we think is a really nice designer touch.
The upholstery is available in black or white faux leather.
This chair is such good quality that it is also suitable for use in a commercial setting – and would look amazing somewhere cool and contemporary like a bar or an art gallery.
* Also available in this range is the Aine Armchair, Aine Dining Chair and Aine sofa.
Use contemporary furniture to create a games room
As the first generation of people who spent their formative years playing computer games are reaching their thirties, and owning homes of their own, we’re seeing a growing trend for games rooms.
It’s a great social phenomenon – a whole room devoted to comfortable, casual seating, a huge TV and the latest consoles like Wii and Playstation 3. It means that you can have your friends around for dance mat contest, or turn the room into a home cinema for the night.
Having a home games room can be a great money-saver as there’s no need to go out to expensive bars and restaurants to get together with your friends – they’ll be flocking to your house every weekend.
Plus, if you have children, then they’ll love this space (so much so that you may have trouble getting them out!)
Don’t take our word for it that this is a big interiors trend … even posh rental properties are getting in on the act. We recently stayed at Longshore House – a gorgeous luxury house in West Wales – and the attic was a dedicated games room with low square seating and a Wii.
Feeling inspired? If you fancy setting up your own games room at home, we have most of the things you need here at Danetti, see below for a selection of our stool seating and TV units. All you need to buy now is that giant TV.

Product focus: Jamie modular seating
Commercial interiors can be difficult places to furnish. Often the spaces are awkward and the pieces you choose have to be really hard-wearing and flexible. We’re always talking to our commercial customers about these issues, and keeping our eyes open for furniture that will fit the bill.
We’ve just started stocking the Jamie modular seating collection, and we’re very pleased with what it has to offer. For a start it comes in 22 different colours of faux leather (see the colour palette below), so pretty much whatever your interior scheme, you’ll be able to match up the Jamie. Secondly, there are 11 pieces in the collection, including concave and convex seats, which means you can position your seating on an inwards or outwards curve – not something you’ll find very often.
It’s a great solution for bars, restaurants, clubs, cafes, reception areas, waiting rooms, and staff rooms.
If you’re unsure about how the Jamie could work in your commercial space, call us to have a chat – we’ve helped many business owners and interior designers get the look they want, and will be happy to help you.
